When an interior designer who dreams of creating her own line of textiles meets a weaver who can make those dreams into reality, magical things happen. The outcome is Twill Textiles, a collection of textiles inspired by the unique beauty of traditional hand weaving.

Twill Textiles is the creation of Suzanne Lovell, principal of Suzanne Lovell, Inc., an architectural interior design firm, and Sam Kasten, one of America's foremost hand weavers of custom fabrics and rugs, and founder of Sam Kasten Handweaver. Their mutual fascination with the craft of hand weaving encouraged them to design a collection of sophisticated fabrics, all inspired by Sam's archive of handwoven designs.

The collection is an offering of traditional, timeless patterns reflecting the sophisticated experience of generations of handweaving. Through machine looms, our linen stripes, silk diamonds, luxurious striés and refined checks look fresh and new, when combined with a subtle palette of colors inspired by nature. It also includes a selection of environmentally-friendly fabrics, noted by the Climatex Lifecycle Home symbol, found exclusively at Twill Textiles. Linking innovative technology together with a conscious regard for the environment, we created a sustainable line of fabrics beautiful and luxurious enough to be used in the home.
